The Previous method was to insert the V3 ECU into the dash through the left cluster panel opening and secure it to the plastic using butyl tape.
New Method
1.
Prepare the V3 ECU as described in the installation instructions.
2.
Remove the connector block mounted near the firewall to the right side of the steering column.
3.
Connect the V3 harness ECU connectors (10P, 10p, 4P) to the V3 ECU.
4.
With the connectors facing left, slide the ECU mounting bracket over the existing stud bolt, then secure it and the connector block with the
previously removed nut.
