The second socket of the improved taillight harness assembly will have identification marks (dots) on each side of the arrow. (See Diagram
Above)

(d)

Reinstall the taillight bulbs.

(e)

Install the bulb sockets into the taillight assembly and reinstall the taillight.

(f)

Repeat on the opposite side.

VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH A TOYOTA TRAILER TOWING WIRE HARNESS CONVERTER

NOTE:

If the vehicle is equipped with a Toyota Trailer Towing Wire Harness Converter. Use a Converter Harness Repair Kit P/N PT413-34000-FF.

(a)

Remove the splashguard from the bottom of the LH taillight cavity.

(b)

Unclip the taillight harness assembly from the body, and disengage the connector from the vehicle harness.

(c)

Remove any wire ties or foam tape holding the trailer-towing wire harness to the taillight harness assembly as required.

(d)

Remove the taillight harness assembly from the vehicle.
