1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

Remove steering wheel.

3.

Remove four instrument finish lower panel attaching screws, then the panel.

4.

Remove upper and lower steering column covers.

5.

Remove two lefthand speaker panel attaching screws, then remove panel, Fig. 18.

6.

Remove five instrument cluster finish panel attaching screws, then the panel.

7.

Remove four combination meter attaching screws, then disconnect electrical connectors and speedometer cable. Remove meter.

8.

Remove ashtray, then the four instrument cluster center panel attaching screws. Remove panel.

9.

Disconnect cigar lighter electrical connectors, then remove ashtray retainer attaching screws. Remove ashtray retainer.
