Steering Wheel: Service and Repair
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Remove steering wheel pad. On models with 4 spoke wheel, remove trim cover from center of steering wheel.
4.
Place alignment marks on steering wheel and mainshaft for assembly reference.
5.
Remove nut attaching steering wheel to steering shaft.
6.
Using a puller 09609-20011, or equivalent, remove steering wheel. On some models, a steering wheel puller may not be necessary.
7.
Reverse procedure to install.
