TITLE A42DL, A44DL LOCK-UP TORQUE CONVERTER PERFORMANCE

To improve engagement/disengagement performance of the lock-up torque converter, the following production changes have been made.

1.

The No. 3 check ball and compression spring, as previously described. for this condition (See TSB Vol. VIII, Transmission and Clutch, 007, 007
Supplement and 008 Revised) has now been discontinued.

2.

These functional components (check ball, compression spring, and relief hole) have now been incorporated into both the primary and secondary
regulator valves.
