5. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE

HINT:  Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side  See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and
Repair/Installation.

6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:  When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected  See: Testing and
Inspection/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

7. REGISTER KEY

NOTICE:  When replacing the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly), perform initialization  See: Accessories and Optional
Equipment/Antitheft and Alarm Systems/Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Engine Immobilizer System (w/ Smart Key
System).

8. REGISTER ECU COMMUNICATION ID
