(a) Inspect and adjust transfer oil    See: Transfer Case/Fluid - Transfer Case/Testing and Inspection.

31. INSTALL CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the center exhaust pipe assembly.

HINT
Refer to the instructions for Installation of the exhaust pipe    See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Exhaust System/Exhaust Pipe/Service
and Repair/Installation for 2GR-FE,    See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Exhaust System/Exhaust Pipe/Service and
Repair/Installation for 1AR-FE).

32. ADD DIFFERENTIAL OIL

(a) for reused rear differential carrier assembly:

(1) Using a hexagon wrench (10 mm), install the rear differential drain plug with a new gasket.

Torque : 39 Nm (398 kgf-cm, 29 ft-lbf)

(2) Add differential oil    See: Fluid - Differential/Service and Repair.

(b) for new rear differential carrier assembly:

(1) Using a hexagon wrench (10 mm), remove the rear differential carrier cover plug and gasket.

(2) Add differential oil    See: Fluid - Differential/Service and Repair.

33. INSPECT AND ADJUST DIFFERENTIAL OIL   See: Fluid - Differential/Service and Repair

34. INSTALL REAR DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER COVER PLUG   See: Fluid - Differential/Service and Repair

35. INSPECT FOR EXHAUST GAS LEAK

36. INSTALL REAR WHEELS

Torque : 105 Nm (1050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf)

37. STABILIZE SUSPENSION   See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Control Arm/Service and Repair/Rear Lower Arm/Installation

38. FULLY TIGHTEN REAR NO. 2 SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY LH   See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Control Arm/Service and

Repair/Rear Lower Arm/Installation

39. FULLY TIGHTEN REAR NO. 2 SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY RH   See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Control Arm/Service and

Repair/Rear Lower Arm/Installation

40. INSPECT AND ADJUST REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT
