Oil seal driven in depth (A):

4.2 to 4.8 mm (0.165 to 0.189 in.)

(b) Apply a light coat of MP grease to the lip of the new rear differential side gear shaft oil seal.

Drive Shaft Assembly/Reassembly

16. INSTALL REAR DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY

(a) Align the matchmarks and insert the rear drive shaft assembly to the rear axle assembly.

(b) Insert the rear drive shaft assembly to the rear differential carrier assembly while pushing the rear axle assembly towards the outside of the

vehicle.
