BRAKE CONTROL / DYNAMIC CONTROL SYSTEMS: SKID CONTROL BUZZER: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

CAUTION:  Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing  See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Service Precautions.

2. DISCONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:  Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
NOTICE:  When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected  See: Testing and
Inspection/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

3. REMOVE DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

HINT:  Refer to the procedure up to Remove Driver Side Knee Airbag Assembly  See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service
and Repair/Knee Airbag Assembly/Removal.

4. REMOVE SKID CONTROL BUZZER ASSEMBLY

(a) Separate the wire harness clamp.

(b) Remove the skid control buzzer assembly clamp.

(c) Disconnect the skid control buzzer assembly connector.
