Introduction

Some customers may complain that the charging system warning light is illuminated on the instrument cluster of the vehicle. The charging system
warning light may illuminate due to a corroded connection on the voltage regulator of the alternator. Follow the inspection and repair procedure below to
correct this condition.

This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from
the vehicle's in-service date.
