Stages I, II and III
The time allowances for major and combination painting
operations are divided into painting stages.
Painting stage / painting individual parts

Sheet metal parts

Painting new components
- Partially apply putty to weld-in parts – sheet metal
attaching parts
- Fill complete surface
- Top-coat complete surface

II

Painting surfaces
- Top-coat complete surface, including small improvements
(without filler application)

III
|
Paint Repairs
- The area worked partially coated with putty, up to 50% of the
surface to be painted
- Fill working surface
- Top-coat complete surface

Paint stage / blending
|
Sheet metal parts (only 2-coat paint)

II a
|
Drift-in painting
- Drift-in basefix to approx. 50 % into the adjoining part
|
II b
|
Blend-in painting
- Drift-in basefix into the whole, adjoining part
|
Painting stage / painting individual parts

Plastic parts
|
I
|
Painting new components
- Top-coat complete surface
|
II

Painting surfaces
- Fill complete surface
- Top-coat complete surface

III
|
Paint Repairs
- Partially adhere and apply putty (plastic repair kit) to
approx. 10% of part surface in operation area
- Fill complete surface
- Top-coat complete surface
- Create structure if required (structure spray)
