On the cover driver airbag a white film could develop.

Cause:

The problem is a chemical reaction, caused by evaporation of interior covers.

Production Solution:

As of June 98 improved airbag covers are introduced in production.

Remedy:

The white film can be removed with glass cleaner and won't appear again.
