Upholstery/Cushion - Front Seat Backrest, Remove
and Install (Sports Seat)
 Remove
Front seat and front seat backrest – see operations "Front
Seat, Remove and Install" and "Front Seat Backrest, Remove and
Install".

Drive out retaining clamps (1) from seat cushion of seat
longitudinal adjustment (4). For vehicles with seat heating:
release wiring harness plug for seat cushion seat heating (2) and
disconnect. Pull out seat cushion of seat longitudinal adjustment
(4) to the front.
Unclip seat longitudinal adjustment cover (3).

Release seat adjuster for front seat, remove guide sleeves for
seat longitudinal adjustment (1).
For vehicles with seat heating: release wiring harness for seat
heating from seat adjuster of front seat and lay out of the way,
wiring harness plug for seat heating (2) from wiring harness plug
for front seat.
Seat adjuster for front seat.

Release upholstery from front seat shell in circular motion,
remove upholstery with cushion.
Detach upholstery from cushion.
Seat cushion for seat longitudinal adjustment (I): release
upholstery in a circular motion, remove upholstery from cushion and
guide.
Install
Seat cushion for seat longitudinal adjustment: pull upholstery
onto cushion and guide, reupholster upholstery in a circular
motion.
Attach upholstery to cushion. Attach upholstery with cushion to
front seat shell and upholster around the edge.

Seat adjuster for front seat, guide sleeves for seat
longitudinal adjustment, wiring harness plug for seat heating,
wiring harness for seat heating, seat longitudinal adjustment
cover, seat cushion for seat longitudinal adjustment, wiring
harness plug for seat heating, seat cushion, retaining clamps.
