Front seat belt panel plate, seat belt on front seat bench (1).

Remove upper B-pillar inner panelling – see operation "Inner Panelling – Upper B-pillar, Remove and Install (Model F70)". Remove lower B-pillar inner panelling – see operation "Inner Panelling – Lower B-Pillar, Remove and Install (Model F70)".

Remove front seat belt from height adjuster, height adjuster, belt guidance system (2) from B-pillar, inertia reel retractor from B-pillar, front seat belt.

Inertia reel retractor to B-pillar – ensure correct position of detent lug (1) – tightening torque 35 Nm / 26 lbf. ft.

Height adjuster to B-pillar – tightening torque 20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft.

Front seat belt to height adjuster – tightening torque 35 Nm / 26 lbf. ft.

Belt guidance system to B-pillar, lower B-pillar inner panelling, upper B-pillar inner panelling.

Seat belt to front seat – tightening torque 20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft.

Caution

Only for vehicles with seat belt load limiter: the inertia reel retractors must be replaced after every accident in which the seat belt tensioner was triggered.
