Clamp brake caliper in vice. Insert piece of hard wood in brake
pad channel and carefully force out piston with compressed air.
Carefully lever out protective cap with plastic wedge from brake
caliper slot. Carefully force out seal ring (1) from groove of
brake caliper housing with plastic wedge.
Push sliding sleeves (2) out of housing with screwdriver.
Clean
Clean piston and bore only with brake fluid or spirit –
never use other liquids. Renew seal ring and protective cap.
Inspect
Check pistons and bore holes for wear – if piston is
defective or rusted, completely replace brake caliper.
