Con-rod Bearing Play, Check (Determine Bearing
Play with Micrometer and Inside Micrometer)
Note: Con-rod and
crankshaft are removed.
Install
Install con-rod bearing cap with con-rod bearing shell to
con-rod – Tightening torque 35 Nm / 26 lbf. ft. + 45° +
15°.
The bolts can be reused for checking the con-rod bearing
play.
