Auxiliary Fan Motor, Remove and Install
 Remove

Remove front panelling – see operation "Front Panelling,
Remove and Install" in group "A".
For version with air conditioning:
Detach resonator from upper front panel.
Disconnect auxiliary fan motor wiring harness plug (2) –
set aside wiring harness.
Remove fastening bolts (1), guide auxiliary fan housing past
resonator and remove downwards.
Unclip auxiliary fan protective grille at the tabs and
remove.
Remove fastening bolts (3) and remove wiring harness plug with
series resistor – set aside wiring harness.
Detach auxiliary fan motor from auxiliary fan housing and
remove.
Detach auxiliary fan motor from auxiliary fan.

Install
Attach auxiliary fan motor to auxiliary fan.
Attach auxiliary fan motor to auxiliary fan housing.
Attach wiring harness plug with series resistor to auxiliary fan
housing – ensure cable routing is correct.
Guide auxiliary fan housing past resonator, insert in lower
bracket and attach to radiator – tightening torque – 4
Nm / 3 lbf. ft.
Clip fan wheel protective grille into fan housing.
Connect auxiliary fan motor wiring harness plug – ensure
cable routing is correct.
For version with air conditioning.
Attach resonator to upper front panel.
Install front panelling – see operation "Front Panelling,
Remove and Install" in group "A".
