Oil Temperature Sensor, Remove and Install
 Remove

Remove lower engine compartment cover – see operation
"Lower Engine Compartment Cover, Remove and Install" in group
"A".
Remove oil drain bolt – collect escaping engine oil.
Disconnect wiring harness plug (1) from oil temperature
sensor.
Detach oil temperature sensor from upper part of oil pan.

Install
Attach oil temperature sensor with new seal ring to upper part
of oil pan – tightening torque 18 Nm / 13 lbf. ft.
Connect wiring harness plug to oil temperature sensor.
Install oil drain bolt in lower part of oil pan with new seal
ring – tightening torque – 10 Nm / 7.5 lbf. ft.
Install lower engine compartment cover – see operation
"Lower Engine Compartment Cover, Remove and Install" in group
"A".
Fill with prescribed oil quantity.
