Detach charge air pipe (1) with charge air hoses from intercooler and turbocharger. Detach charge air pipe from intake manifold or bracket and remove.

Detach brake servo vacuum line (2) and vacuum hose (3) from vacuum pump.

Disassemble and remove vacuum pump (4) from camshaft housing with charge air pipe bracket.

  Clean

Clean sealing surfaces and remove gasket residues.

Attach vacuum pump and charge air pipe bracket with new seal ring to camshaft housing – tightening torque – 28 Nm / 20.5 lbf. ft.

Ensure that the vacuum pump drive (2) engages in the groove (1) of the camshaft.

Connect brake servo vacuum line and vacuum hose to vacuum pump.

Attach charge air pipe to intercooler and turbocharger – ensure correct seating – tightening torque 3.5 Nm / 2.6 lbf. ft.

Attach charge air pipe to intake manifold and bracket – tightening torque – 3 Nm / 2 lbf. ft.
