Piston with Con-rod, X 18 XE1 The X 18 XE1 is equipped with flat pistons and lightweight piston pins. • Service The piston pin is pressed into the con-rod boss. The piston, piston pin and con-rod must always be replaced together. The broken surfaces of the con-rod and the con-rod bearing cap form a perfect fit and must not be mixed up.
