Remove gasket residues and clean sealing surfaces.
Inspect
Cylinder head dismantled.
Check length and width of cylinder head sealing surfaces for
deformation and diagonals for warpage – use straight
edge.
Caution
Resurfacing of the cylinder head is not permitted.
Measure
Height of cylinder head (sealing surface to sealing
surface):
Dimension (I) – X 14 XE, Z 14 XE, X 16 XEL, Z 16 XE, Z 16
YNG – 135.2 mm.
Dimension (I) – X 18 XE1, Z 18 XE, Z 18 XEL -135.85
– 136.0 mm.
