Intake Module / Intake Manifold, X 18 XE1 The X 18 XE1 DOHC I petrol engine, like the X 20 XEV in the Vectra-B, is equipped with an intake module with switched intake manifold length. The fuel pressure regulator is not installed on the fuel distributor pipe in the conventional manner, but is an integrated component of the fuel tank module as a result of the use of the non-return fuel system. The hybrid engine control unit is fastened to the intake manifold. The intake module consists of the following components:
1 Engine wiring harness with injector plug strip 2 Fuel distributor pipe with service valve 3 Injectors 4 Throttle valve adjuster 5 Switchover valves solenoid valve 6 Switchover valves vacuum unit 7 Engine control unit
