Internal Crankcase Ventilation, X 18 XE1 The conventional external crankcase ventilation using a pipe and vent hose, as featured by the X 14 XE and X 16 XEL engines, is omitted in the X 18 XE1. Internal crankcase ventilation has been achieved by altering the cast in the cylinder block, cylinder head and oil pan. |
