Remove oil drain bolt – collect escaping engine oil.
Detach oil filter housing cover (1) from oil filter housing and
remove upwards with oil filter insert (3).
Install
Slide new seal ring (2) onto oil filter housing cover.
Attach oil filter housing cover with new oil filter insert to
oil filter housing – tightening torque 15 Nm / 11 lbf. ft.
Install oil drain plug with new seal ring.
For version with inner torx bolt – tightening torque 14 Nm
/ 10 lbf. ft.
For version with hexagonal bolt – tightening torque 45 Nm
/ 33 lbf. ft.
Charge with specified volume of engine oil.
Inspect
Start engine and allow to run until the oil pressure telltale
extinguishes. Check engine oil level and correct if necessary.
