Disconnect relevant wiring harness plug. Remove 1-2/3-4 shift solenoid valve (1). Remove 2-3 shift solenoid valve (2). Remove pressure regulator (3). Remove converter clutch solenoid valve (4). Remove neutral shift solenoid valve (5).

Caution

The pressure regulator is not available as an individual part and must be replaced together with the valve body if defective – see operation "Valve Body, Remove and Install (AF 20/AF 22) (Transmission Installed)".

Attach relevant solenoid valve (1) with new O-ring to valve body – tightening torque 7 Nm / 5 lbf. ft. Connect relevant wiring harness plug onto solenoid valve.

Attach pressure regulator (2) to valve body – tightening torque 7 Nm / 5 lbf. ft.

Install side cover – see operation "Side Cover, Remove and Install (AF 22)".

If present: Install lower engine cover – see operation "Lower Engine Cover, Remove and Install" in group "A".

Check level of transmission fluid and correct if necessary – see operation "Transmission Fluid Level, Check and Correct (AF 13-II/AF 17/AF 20/AF 22)".
