Steering Wheels  

All steering wheels for the Astra-G are made of diecast light alloy and, in vehicles with diesel engines, are additionally equipped with an integrated vibration-elimination system.  

The gearing of the steering wheel/steering shaft has been increased from 36 to 66 teeth to allow more precise correction of the steering wheel adjustment. The adjustment angular degree is thus decreased from 5 ° to 2.66 ° .  

Leather steering wheels with radio remote control are available as optional equipment.  

• Service   The steering wheel is fastened to the steering shaft by a bolt (1). A steering wheel remover is no longer required for removal of the steering wheel.
