Detach universal joint from shifter rod – at the same time press in retaining spring (arrow) of female pin (2) and lever out female pin with KM-569-A.

Release retaining clamps (1) and detach from timing disc.

Remove timing disc from guide rod and place to the rear.

Remove fastening bolt (4) and remove odometer sensor with wiring harness.

Disconnect odometer sensor wiring harness plug (3).

Install odometer sensor (1) with new O-ring (2) and new fastening bolt on transmission – tightening torque 5 Nm / 3.7 lbf. ft.

Place timing disc on right and left guide rod and secure with new retaining clamps.

Install universal joint (4) on shifter rod (5) and secure with new female pin (3).
