Subject: Poor Radio Reception
Vehicles: All with roof mounted aerial
Condition: Upon inspection a high number of roof mounted aerials returned to the Warranty Material Return Centre were found to have no faults.
Before replacing a roof mounted aerial all connections at the aerial, including the retaining nut, should be checked for tightness.
All roof mounted aerials returned that are found not to be faulty will be rejected under warranty and the retailer debited accordingly.
