Replace bonnet
 Remove

Disengage gas lifter spring from bonnet

Disengage retaining clip (1)

Detach bonnet
Note: This requires a
second person

Unclip gas lifter spring and lay aside
|
|
|
|
Install
| 3. |
When replacing bonnet: seal cavity
Note: Observe
protective wax corrosion protection measures.

Attach bonnet
Note: This requires a
second person

Clip in gas lifter spring
|
|
| 5. |
Attach gas lifter spring to bonnet
|
| 6. |
Adjust bonnet
Note: Use the bonnet
closure (1) and the rubber buffer (2) to adjust the bonnet.

| 7. |
Adjust the bonnet (preliminary tension)

Screw the rubber buffer in until the bonnet edge is 2 mm (I) below the top edge of the
wing
|

Install and adjust the bonnet closure bolts 
|
| • |
Unscrew rubber buffer by 180° to set the preliminary tension of the
bonnet lock
|
| • |
If the bonnet (1) is aligned, after the adjustment 1 mm must be under the upper edge of the
wing
|
|
|
|

Adjust bonnet
Note: Make sure the
joints run parallel
