Field Remedy: 2322

Remedy:

In case of a complaint the sash window has to be repositioned and the 
guide rail of the window regulator has to be lubricated with grease. 

Note: Carry out the following working instruction, do not replace 
the window regulator. 

1. Lower sash window.

2. Remove front door inner panelling
     - see working procedure "Inner Panelling - Front Door, Remove and 
       Install", Group "C", Service Intruction Astra-H
       (Document-Number 00501169 and 00901997). 

3. Detach water vapour barrier
     - remove 2x holding angles

4. Loosen front door sash window
     - loosen 2x bolts (only 360 degree rotation)

Note: Guide the sash window in position so that the fastening bolts 
align with the top mounting holes.     

5. Guide sash window upwards (approx. 50 mm before window closed) and  
   place evenly in rubber seal.

Note: Sash window must abut parallel against inner edge of B-pillar 
guide rail.

6. Fasten front door sash window
    -  tighten 2x bolts

7. Grease sliding surface of diagonal mounted guide rail 
   (see picture I,1) at its whole length 
   (grease partnumber: 90001825 / cataloguenumber: 19 48 524).

8. Fasten water vapour barrier
    -  install 2x holding angles 

9. Attach front door inner panelling
     - see working procedure "Inner Panelling - Front Door, Remove and
       Install", Group "C", Service Intruction Astra-H
       (Document-Number 00501169 and 00901997). 

10. Close sash window.
