C-001 - Sensor Voltage Supply Circuit

T001

Check: Short to Voltage/Ground of Voltage Supply Circuit

  • Ignition OFF
  • Disconnect wiring harness connector from:
    B36BL Sensor - Vertical Acceleration Body, Front Left
  • Ignition ON
  • Measure voltage between the following terminals:
    B36BL Sensor - Vertical Acceleration Body, Front Left
    Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 1
    &
    Ground

4.5 ... 5.5 V

Voltage Measurement Current Value: V
Yes: No:
T002

Check: Short to Voltage of Ground Circuit

  • Measure voltage between the following terminals:
    B36BL Sensor - Vertical Acceleration Body, Front Left
    Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 3
    &
    Ground

less than 0.3 V

Check: Short to Voltage of Ground Circuit

  • Ignition OFF
  • Disconnect wiring harness connector from:
    B36BR Sensor - Vertical Acceleration Body, Front Right
  • Ignition ON
  • Measure voltage between the following terminals:
    B36BL Sensor - Vertical Acceleration Body, Front Left
    Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 3
    &
    Ground
  • Disconnect each of the following components/control units consecutively from the wiring harness and repeat the measurement each time:
    B36WL Sensor - Vertical Acceleration Wheel, Front Left
    B36WR Sensor - Vertical Acceleration Wheel, Front Right
    B37 Sensor - Vertical Acceleration Body, Rear

less than 0.3 V

    Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 3
    &
    Ground

    B36BL Sensor - Vertical Acceleration Body, Front Left
    Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 1
    &

    &
    Ground

  • Disconnect wiring harness connector from:
    B36BR Sensor - Vertical Acceleration Body, Front Right
  • Measure resistance between the following terminals:
    B36BL Sensor - Vertical Acceleration Body, Front Left
    Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 1
    &
    Ground
  • Disconnect each of the following components/control units consecutively from the wiring harness and repeat the measurement each time:
    B36WL Sensor - Vertical Acceleration Wheel, Front Left
    B36WR Sensor - Vertical Acceleration Wheel, Front Right

    Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 1
    &
    Ground
  • Disconnect each of the following components/control units consecutively from the wiring harness and repeat the measurement each time:
    B36WL Sensor - Vertical Acceleration Wheel, Front Left
    B36WR Sensor - Vertical Acceleration Wheel, Front Right
    B37 Sensor - Vertical Acceleration Body, Rear

less than 5.5 V

E003 Result: Short to Voltage
  • Short circuit to voltage between:
    A6 Control Unit - Semi Active Damping System
    Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 25
    &
    B37 Sensor - Vertical Acceleration Body, Rear

E004 Result: Short to Voltage
