Engine Oil Pressure, Check > < Replace overpressure valve

Oil Dipstick Guide Tube, Replace (New Design)

  Remove

1.   Open bonnet
2.   If present: detach cover (1)
•   Unscrew 2x bolts (2)
Object Number: 8230978 Size: DEFAULT


3.   Place collecting basin underneath.
Note:   If the engine oil level is at maximum, a certain quantity of oil may emerge when drawing out the oil dipstick guide tube
4.   Remove oil dipstick guide tube (2)
•   Unscrew bolt (1)
•   Remove oil dipstick guide tube upward

  Install

5.   Raise vehicle by its full height
6.   Clean oil pan
7.   Install dipstick guide tube
•   Replace sealing ring
– Coat seal ring with fresh engine oil
•   Insert oil dipstick guide tube into oil pan
8.   Lower vehicle by its full height
9.   Fasten oil dipstick guide tube
•   Tighten bolt 8 Nm
10.   Fit cover
•   Tighten 2x bolts
11.   Check oil level and correct with fresh engine oil if necessary
Note:   Comply with specified engine oil grade
12.   Close bonnet
