Overhaul oil pump

  Remove

1.   Remove oil pump
2.   Oil Pump, Check
•   Clean the components
•   Visually check components
•   Insert outer rotor
•   Measure distance
Note:   Between outer rotor and oil pump housing. Permissible dimensions max 0.350 mm
•   Remove outer rotor
•   Measure clearance
Note:   Measure clearance between inner and outer rotor at the marking (arrows). Permissible clearange max. 0.150 mm
•   Insert 2x rotor
•   Check residue
Note:   Rotors to upper edge of timing case. Permissible dimensions max 0.08 mm
•   Remove 2x rotor
•   Clean sealing surfaces.

3.   Install oil pump
