Replace hot film mass air flow meter > < Replace turbocharger solenoid valve

Replace throttle valve module

  Remove

1.   Open bonnet
2.   Remove engine cover (1)
•   Pull off engine cover
Note:   Re-attach any retaining rubbers (2) to the engine cover which may have become detached

3.   Remove charge air hose (1)
•   Undo 2 clamps
Object Number: 7360939 Size: DEFAULT


4.   Detach intake connection piece (1) from throttle valve module
•   Unscrew 2x bolts (2)
Object Number: 7361581 Size: DEFAULT


5.   Remove throttle valve module (1)
•   Unscrew 3x bolts (2)
Object Number: 7361582 Size: DEFAULT


6.   Clean sealing surface

  Install

7.   Install throttle valve module
•   Insert new gasket
•   Tighten 3x bolts
8.   Attach intake port to throttle valve module
•   Replace gasket
Note:   Coat with special grease (white)
•   Tighten 2x bolts
9.   Fit intercooler charge air hose to throttle valve connection
•   Fasten 2x clamp 3.5 Nm
10.   Install engine cover
•   Clip in 4x
11.   Close bonnet
