  • Coolant temperature is greater than 38 °C (100 °F)
  • Above conditions must be fulfilled for at least 8 min.

Effect:

  • Engine speed is controlled to a fixed value of 850 rpm

Note:

The fault detection is only possible if the brake-light switch is operational. The trouble code will be set, if the pedal position sensor has a malfunction or the pedal position is implausible.
