Replace throttle valve module > < Replace particle filter temperature sensor

Replace pre-catalytic converter temperature sensor

  Remove

1.   Open bonnet
2.   Disconnect battery
•   Detach ground connection from ground terminal
– Slacken nut
3.   Remove air intake pipe
4.   Undo right front wheel
•   Slacken 5x wheel bolts
5.   Raise vehicle by half its height
6.   Detach right front wheel
•   Unscrew 5x wheel bolts
7.   Raise vehicle by half its height
8.   Detach the lower engine cover and right engine splash guard
9.   Unplug wiring harness plug of pre-catalytic converter temperature sensor (1)
•   Unclip wiring harness from bracket
10.   Remove pre-catalytic converter temperature sensor (2)
•   Unscrew temperature sensor

  Install

11.   Install pre-catalytic converter temperature sensor
•   Tighten temperature sensor 55 Nm
12.   Plug in wiring harness plug of pre-catalytic converter temperature sensor
•   Clip wiring harness into bracket
13.   Install lower engine cover and right engine splash guard
14.   Lower vehicle by half its height
15.   Attach right front wheel
•   Screw in 5x wheel bolts
16.   Lower vehicle by half its height
17.   Fasten right front wheel
•   Tighten 5 wheel bolts 110 Nm
18.   Fit air intake manifold pipe LUREF_1.gif
19.   Connect battery
•   Attach ground connection to ground terminal
– Tighten nut
20.   Program volatile memories
21.   Close bonnet
