The following test steps must be performed in the given order. If a fault is found in one test step, the subsequent test steps can be skipped.
Programming
- Select the following Functional System:
Electronic Diesel Injection System Multijet 6JO, Z 13 DTH
- Select and enable diagnostic tester programming:
Perform the diesel particulate filter regeneration.
After programming successfully, check if the system malfunction is still present.
Function Checks
- Verify mechanical system functions/components
(leakage, blockage)
- Exhaust system
- Catalytic Converter
- Diesel Particulate Filter
- B174 Sensor - Temperature, Exhaust Gas
- B175 Sensor - Pressure, Exhaust Gas
Check the hoses for leakage or blockage before replacing the component.
Perform the following troubleshooting:
After successful test/fault repair proceed to the next test step
