Subject: Engine Z19DT/L, AGR valve - Trouble code P0400 (5A) is set
Models: Engines: Option:
Vectra-C 2007...,Astra-H 2007...,Zafira-B 2007... Z19DT| Z19DTL,Z19DT| Z19DTL,Z19DT| Z19DTL only 2 valve engines affected
Complaint: Customer complains that the vehicle starts but the SVS lamp will be flagged, mainly after longer standstill. Trouble code P0400 (5A) is set in ECU.
Cause: P0400 (5A) will be set due to sticking EGR valve, e.g. stuck in closed position.
Production: Improved software in release process.

Remedy:

Modified software for Zafira-B is available via TIS2Web or/ as of
Global TIS DVD 17.0, see also Service Update 09-P-026. 
Modified data for Astra-H and Vectra-C is available since 
the 22-Mar-2010 per download via TIS2Web.
