Replace charge pressure control solenoid valve > < Replace turbocharger solenoid valve

Replace charge pressure sensor

  Remove

1.   Open bonnet
2.   Remove engine cover
3.   Remove EGR valve
•   Unscrew 3 bolts
– EGR valve (3)
•   Unscrew 2x bolts
– EGR metal tube to throttle valve module (1)
•   Unscrew 2x bolts
– Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) cooler (4)
•   Remove 2x engine transport shackle seal (2)

4.   Remove charge pressure sensor (2)
•   Disconnect wiring harness plug (1)
•   Unscrew bolt (3)
Object Number: 8230695 Size: DEFAULT


  Install

5.   Install charge pressure sensor
•   Replace seal
•   Tighten bolt 9 Nm
•   Fix wiring harness plug
6.   Install EGR valve
•   Replace 2x seal; fit engine transport shackle
•   Tighten 3x bolt 25 Nm
– EGR valve
•   Tighten 2x bolt 25 Nm
– EGR metal tube to throttle valve module
•   Tighten 2x bolt 25 Nm
– Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) cooler
7.   Install engine cover
8.   Close bonnet
