Fluid Pump Assembly with Multi-disc Brakes B1 and
B2, Remove and Install (AF22)
Remove
Important: Secure converter so it
does not fall out

Remove transmission
|
2. |
Install transmission
Note: Attach
transmission to KM-694-A (2)

Attach assembly to KM-113-2 (1)
|
|
3. |
Remove oil drain bolt (3)
• |
Drain transmission fluid and collect for damage diagnosis
|
|
4. |
Remove converter and fluid pump seal ring
|
|
|
|
5. |
Remove 8x bolt for fluid pump on transmission (arrows)
|
6. |
Attach KM-993 (1) to fluid pump
Note: For transmissions
without thread holes for KM-702 .

Displace clamp ring (2) and attach to fluid pump
|
|
7. |
Pull fluid pump from transmission
• |
Pull fluid pump out of transmission by rotating spindle
|
|
8. |
Attach KM-702 (4) to fluid pump
Note: For transmissions
with thread holes for KM-702 .
• |
Pull fluid pump out of transmission by rotating spindle (3)
|
|
9. |
Detach tools and remove fluid pump assembly (5) with multi-disc
brakes B1 and B2
Note: For both
transmission designs.

Install
|
Important: Watch out for plastic
discs (2) and (3)
|

Remove freewheel F1 (1) from fluid pump assembly with
multi-disc brakes B1 and B2
|
11. |
Check all parts, replace if necessary
|
12. |
Attach freewheel F1 with plastic discs in fluid pump assembly
with multi-disc brakes B1 and B2
• |
Align lining plates B1 (6) and B2 (5) using a screwdriver (4)
so that the freewheel F1 can be applied flawlessly
|
|
13. |
When fitted correctly, dimension (I): 51.1 to 51.7 mm
|
|
Important: To prevent the fluid
pump assembly with multi-disc brakes B1 and B2 with freewheel F1
falling apart when inserted in the transmission, the transmission
must be fixed horizontally with the secondary housing down in KM-113-2 .

Insert fluid pump assembly with multi-disc brakes B1 and B2
with freewheel F1 into the transmission from below
Note: Note hole
pattern.

16. |
Insert 2x bolt
• |
Rotate transmission in KM-113-2 by
180 °
|
• |
Insert 8x bolt (arrows) and tighten 25
Nm
|
|
Important: Secure converter so it
does not fall out
|
17. |
Drive in fluid pump seal ring using KM-674 (2) and install converter
|
|
|
18. |
Attach oil drain bolt (3) to transmission with seal ring
Note: Use new seal
ring.
• |
Tighten oil drain bolt 40 Nm
|
|
19. |
Detach transmission assembly with KM-694-A (2) from KM-113-2
(1)
|
20. |
Detach transmission from KM-694-A
|
22. |
Top up with transmission fluid
|
23. |
Check and correct transmission fluid level
|
