  • Is the diagnostic trouble code P2637 stored?
    and/or
  • Is the diagnostic trouble code P2641 stored?
Yes: No:
T002

Check: Diagnostic Trouble Code stored

The following test steps must be performed in the given order. If a fault is found in one test step, the subsequent test steps can be skipped.

Trouble Codes

  • Read and record diagnostic trouble codes including status
  • If a trouble code with status present is stored:

Perform the following troubleshooting:

After successful test/fault repair proceed to the next test step

Diagnostic Trouble Codes

The following test steps must be performed in the given order. If a fault is found in one test step, the subsequent test steps can be skipped.

Trouble Codes

  • If any trouble code except trouble code P0700, P1700 is stored, continue the troubleshooting as follows:
  • With trouble code P0700, P1700 recognised:

Function Checks

  • Ignition OFF
  • Wait at least 10 s
  • Delete trouble codes
  • Read and record again trouble codes including status after the test drive.
  • With trouble code P0700, P1700 recognised:

After successful test/fault repair proceed to the next test step

Note:

If the control unit A84 recognises an invalid signal via CAN-Bus, one or more of the trouble codes P0700, P1700 are stored. These trouble codes must be seen as an effect of a detected fault in another Functional System.
