Function Test for the Easytronic (F13
MTA/F17+MTA)
Note: Only the
function tests possible on the Easytronic are shown in this
operation. The procedure for these tests is described in the
corresponding test instructions and is undertaken with TECH 2.
Clutch Test
- The dividing test is used as a mechanical check on the release
system. The clutch should be opened and closed by pressing the
button with the gear engaged and the vehicle should be pushed with
the clutch open to exclude a mechanical fault in the release system
or the clutch.
Signal check via data list and additional data
list
- It is necessary to read out a number of switches and signals,
which are relevant to the Easytronic, with TECH 2 in order to
undertake an analysis during servicing. The signals and their value
ranges are described in the test instructions and are displayed via
the TECH 2 menu "Data list" and "Additional data list".
Clutch Control Test
- This test serves as a function check on the clutch actuator and
its bearing control. For this test it is necessary either to empty
the hydraulic section or to clamp it off from the master cylinder.
The application is described in the test instructions.
