| Complaint: |
Customer complain about SVS on and lack of
power. R/F reads DTC: P0400, P0403 or P0409 in engine ECU. |
| Cause: |
Issue was caused due to a sticking EGR valve
based on a missing cleaning routine. |
| Production: |
Improved software including cleaning routine
implemented in August 2009 for Astra-H, Software for Zafira-B,
Meriva-A and Corsa-D is scheduled for spring 2010. |
Remedy:
In case of customer complaint please re-flash the engine control
unit with the latest software from TIS2WEB available starting
14-Dec-2009.
Note:
If the EGR has been blocked it needs to be replaced.
Please note:
This calibration file will only be valid for Astra-H! Zafira-B,
Corsa-D as well as Meriva will follow in March 2010.
Implemetation of the cleaning routine for the other models as
follows:
- Corsa-D, 15-Feb-2010
- Meriva-A, 01-Mar-2010
- Zafira-B, 22-Mar-2010
