Replace Open and Start control unit - L48
Note: When replacing
the control unit, before removing the control unit carry out a
Reset with TECH 2.
 Remove

Disconnect wiring harness plug for rear electronics module
(REC)

Disconnect 6x wiring harness plug (1) and (3)
|

Release rear electronics module (REC)
|
| 5. |
Remove rear electronics module (REC)
Note: Only for vehicles
with park pilot control unit.
Note: Please pay
attention to this when replacing the rear electronics module
(REC)
The rear electronics module (REC) contains the maximum number of
relays and fuses. The rear electronics module will contain surplus
relays and fuses.

Install

Attach Open and Start control unit

Clip control unit into Rear Electronic Module (REC)
|

Insert rear electronics module (REC)
Note: Only for vehicles
with park pilot control unit.

Clip in park pilot control unit (PAS)

Attach rear electronics module (REC)

Connect wiring harness plug for rear electronics module
(REC)

Connect 6x wiring harness plug
