Check: Short to Ground/Interruption of Voltage Supply Circuit

• Ignition OFF
• Disconnect wiring harness connector from:
  S112P Switch Unit - Front Passenger Door
• Ignition ON
• Measure voltage between the following terminals:
  S112P Switch Unit - Front Passenger Door
  Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 1
  &
  Ground

greater than 11 V

Check: Vehicle Configuration

• Is the following component installed?
  S112P Switch Unit - Front Passenger Door
  6 terminals of the 6 -terminal wiring harness connector are used.

Check: Short to Voltage of Signal Circuit

• Measure voltage between:
  S112P Switch Unit - Front Passenger Door
  Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 3
  &
  Ground

less than 0.3 V

Check: Short to Voltage of Signal Circuit

• Measure voltage between:
  S112P Switch Unit - Front Passenger Door
  Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 6
  &
  Ground

less than 0.3 V

Check: Short to Ground of Signal Circuit

• Ignition OFF
• Measure resistance between:
  S112P Switch Unit - Front Passenger Door
  Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 6
  &
  Ground

greater than 500 kOhm

Check: Short to Ground of Signal Circuit

• Measure resistance between:
  S112P Switch Unit - Front Passenger Door
  Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 3
  &
  Ground

Check: Short to Ground/Interruption of Voltage Supply Circuit

• Ignition OFF
• Disconnect wiring harness connector from:
  M10P Motor - Window Lifter, Front Passenger Door
• Ignition ON
• Measure voltage between:
  M10P Motor - Window Lifter, Front Passenger Door
  Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 1
  &
  Ground

greater than 11 V

Check: Circuit Interruption of Ground Circuit

• Measure voltage between:
  M10P Motor - Window Lifter, Front Passenger Door
  Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 1
  &
  M10P Motor - Window Lifter, Front Passenger Door
  Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 4

greater than 11 V

Check: Short to Voltage of Signal Circuit

• Measure voltage between:
  M10P Motor - Window Lifter, Front Passenger Door
  Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 3
  &
  Ground

less than 0.3 V

Check: Short to Voltage of Signal Circuit

• Measure voltage between:
  M10P Motor - Window Lifter, Front Passenger Door
  Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 2
  &
  Ground

less than 0.3 V

Check: Short to Ground of Signal Circuit

• Ignition OFF
• Connect wiring harness connector to:
  M10P Motor - Window Lifter, Front Passenger Door
• Ignition ON
• Connect fused jumper wire for a maximum of 2 s to:
  S112P Switch Unit - Front Passenger Door
  Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 1
  &
  S112P Switch Unit - Front Passenger Door
  Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 2
• The corresponding motor tries to move in DOWN direction

Test okay?

Check: Short to Ground of Signal Circuit

• Connect fused jumper wire for a maximum of 2 s to:
  S112P Switch Unit - Front Passenger Door
  Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 1
  &
  S112P Switch Unit - Front Passenger Door
  Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 5
• The corresponding motor tries to move in UP direction

Test okay?

Check: Short to Ground of Signal Circuit

• Check the following component for proper operation:
  Fuse of the fused jumper wire

Check: Interruption of Signal Circuit

• Ignition OFF
  Disconnect wiring harness connector from:
  M10P Motor - Window Lifter, Front Passenger Door
• Measure resistance between:
  M10P Motor - Window Lifter, Front Passenger Door
  Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 2
  &
  S112P Switch Unit - Front Passenger Door
  Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 5

less than 5 Ohm

• Is the following component installed?
  S112P Switch Unit - Front Passenger Door
  6 terminals of the 6 -terminal wiring harness connector are used.

• Is the following component installed?
  S112P Switch Unit - Front Passenger Door
  4 terminals of the 6 -terminal wiring harness connector are used.

Check: Short to Ground of Signal Circuit

• Check the following component for proper operation:
  Fuse of the fused jumper wire
