Replace immobiliser control unit (transponder)

Note: When replacing the control unit, before removing the control unit carry out a Reset with TECH 2.

Remove

1.	Disconnect battery.

2.	Remove steering wheel

Remove lower steering column panelling

•	Unscrew 5x bolt (arrows)

•	Remove ignition lock panel (1)

Remove column integration module (CIM)

•	Unscrew 3x bolt (1)

•	Unclip wiring harness holder (arrow)

•	Release wiring harness plug (2) and disconnect

Remove control unit for immobiliser

•	Unclip 2x clip (1) and (2)

•	Remove control unit

Install

Install control unit for immobiliser

•	Clip in 2x clip

Install column integration module (CIM)

•	Connect and lock wiring harness plug

•	Clip in wiring harness holder

•	Tighten 3x bolt

Install lower steering column panelling

•	Fit ignition lock panel

•	Tighten 5x screw

9.	Install steering wheel Note: When replacing the control unit, after fitting the control unit carry out a Program with TECH 2.
