Replace tailgate wiper motor L35 > < Replace windscreen wiper motor with linkage - LHD

Replace tailgate wiper motor

  Remove

1.   Unclip fastening cover for rear screen wiper arm (1).
2.   Remove rear wiper arm
•   Unscrew nut and remove wiper arm
– Apply KM-6166 (2) and remove rear wiper arm by tightening the removal screw (3) (arrow)

3.   Remove tailgate inner panelling downwards LUREF_1.gif
4.   Unclip wiring harness plug (1) for wiper motor and disconnect
•   Disconnect wiring harness plug
– Release wiring harness plug and disconnect.
5.   Remove wiper motor
•   Unscrew 3x bolt (2)

  Install

6.   Install wiper motor
•   Tighten 3x bolt
7.   Connect wiper motor wiring harness plug
•   Connect wiring harness plug
8.   Fit tailgate inner panelling at base LUREF_1.gif
9.   Attach rear wiper arm
•   Tighten nut 9 Nm
10.   Clip in fastening cover for rear screen wiper arm
