Important:
Reset the concerned control unit with the diagnostic tester before replacing it. In order to do that, call up the "RESET" function from the PROGRAMMING menu of the current system on the diagnostic tester.

Conditions for automatic time and date adjustment:
The automatic adjustment is performed after the radio is switched on. During the adjustment the symbol Time/RDS is displayed. If no RDS-signal is recognised, time and date have to be adjusted manually.
Automatic time adjustment via RDS is only possible if a RDS-supported station, which transmits an European standardised signal, is received by the radio . The time update is performed within a few minutes after the radio is switched on.

The replacement of the components must be done in the listed order.
The system must be checked for proper operation after every replacement.
