Replace luggage compartment lid wiring harness - L67

  Remove

1.   Open luggage compartment lid
2.   Disconnect battery.
3.   Remove interior luggage compartment lid cover (1)
•   Remove 3 body-bound rivets (arrows)
•   Unscrew bolt (2)

4.   Remove third brake light
•   Unscrew 4x bolt (1)
•   Remove third brake light
– Disconnect wiring harness plug (2)

5.   Remove luggage compartment lid central locking servo motor retaining plate
•   Undo 4x clip (1)
•   Disconnect wiring harness plug (2)

6.   Remove luggage compartment lid wiring harness
Note:   The graphic shows the luggage compartment lid detached for better clarity.

  Install

7.   Install luggage compartment lid wiring harness
8.   Install third brake light
•   Insert third brake light
– Connect wiring harness plug
•   Tighten 4x screw
9.   Install luggage compartment lid central locking servo motor retaining plate
•   Connect wiring harness plug
•   Clip in 4x clip
10.   Replace interior luggage compartment lid cover
•   Tighten bolt
•   Insert 3 body-bound rivets
11.   Connect battery.
12.   Program volatile memories
