Wiring harness Infotainment Remote control -
Steering wheel - Replace
Warning: After
disconnecting the battery, wait 1 minute for the condenser to
discharge.
 Remove
|

Remove airbag
| • |
Turn steering wheel through 90 degrees (I)
|
| • |
Insert a small screwdriver in the service opening (II) and
press retaining clip towards the steering column (III) and remove
airbag module
Note: Ensure that the
retaining clip is not bent.

Release wiring harness plug and disconnect
|
|
|

Remove horn control
| • |
Disconnect 2x wiring harness plug (1)
|
| • |
Remove signal switch board (3)
|
|
|
|
| 4. |
Remove wiring harness
| • |
Detach 2x wiring harness plug
|
|
Install
| 5. |
Install wiring harness
| • |
Connect and lock 2x wiring harness plugs
|
| • |
Position wiring harness
|
|
| 6. |
Install horn control
| • |
Insert signal switch board
|
| • |
Insert signal switch control
|
| • |
Connect 2x wiring harness plug
|
|
| 7. |
Install airbag unit
| • |
Connect and lock wiring harness plug
|
| • |
Clamp airbag unit in place
|
|
| 9. |
Carry out readiness test
| • |
After ignition ON, the Airbag system readiness check light
comes on for 4 seconds and then goes out.

Program volatile memories
